Parents can turn Safe Chat on or off for each child profile on their account. This allows you to customize each child’s community experience based on what works best for your family.
How to adjust Safe Chat settings:
- Log in with your email address and password.
- From the Select Child Profile page, click Manage Profiles at the bottom. A pencil icon will appear over each child profile.
- Click the pencil icon for the child profile you wish to manage.
- From there, you can select or deselect three options:
- Can Login — Controls whether your child can log in to Lightgliders.
- Can Send Chat — Controls whether your child can send Safe Chat messages to other players.
- Can See Chat — Controls whether your child can see Safe Chat messages from other players.
To turn off your child’s Safe Chat experience, deselect both Can Send Chat and Can See Chat.

Lightglider Academy is the multiplayer area of Lightgliders and the only place where kids can interact with other players using Safe Chat.
What happens when Safe Chat features are turned off?
* Kids cannot send or see Safe Chat messages.
* Multiplayer gameplay and missions are still available.
* Community events can still be joined, but communication is limited.
Even when enabled, Safe Chat is filtered and restricted, with safeguards designed specifically for kids.
