The research shows that beliefs and values are solidified before the teenage years, so Lightgliders was designed with kids ages 6 to 12 in mind.
Lightgliders is a positive digital alternative for kids filled with fun gameplay, relatable and Biblically-sound teaching, and lots of reflection questions to spark meaningful conversations in the home.
While these are the recommended ages, we have many younger players (pre-readers) who enjoy watching videos, decorating their Treehouse, and playing some of the simpler games. Conversely, we have lots of older players who really excel at the challenging missions and games, as well as enjoy helping out with events and mentoring younger players through our in-game leadership program (Lightgliders Ambassadors).
